Jason,

Please note that I did not include "monitoring".  I did not include the
~$500 for web-based monitoring of the Enphase, only the EMU as required
by CSI, just as id did not include the cards and such needed to get the
sting inverters "on the web".

You can tack on all the extra costs you like. I am not in the business
of selling fancy monitoring systems.  My customers go out once a month
and read their inverter and PG&E meter and send the info to me by email.
I generate a performance report and send it back to them.  The report
always shows actual perforance vs. the projected perforance estimated at
the time of sales.

But don't forget the string combiner/fusing box plus DC disconnect, plus
monitoring...I know it will lean towards Enphase by a good spread
because I did a price comparison for a number of array sizes, and string
inverters always were more. The difference was from $1000 to $5000
depending on system size and increased as the system got larger.
