[RE-wrenches] Silent Power Inverter

They're just finishing up CSA certification to UL1741.

I've reviewed a couple generations of their product, and I've been
running one at my house for the last month or so. Like David says, the
inverter board is separate from the charger board so your loads always
see regulated power - no generator glitches or stumbles make it to the
loads. It's also cool in that a single 120v inverter can charge
balanced from a 240v genny without the need of extra transformer. It's
almost the exact footprint of the SW, although the conduit routing is a
little different.

Some of the programming needs a little more polish, but I think they
could have a good product

Is it UL listed?

The spec says 'Designed to meet UL1741 and CSA STD No. 107.1-01'

Allan,
I have one that I have been testing for a couple of months off-grid. It
works great. Charger and Inverter are separate circuits so it makes a
good ups too. Or you can charge with a small generator while you power
intermittent heavy loads with the inverter. It only weights 60 pounds
for a 4kw inverter.

Wrenches,
Who has heard of this company? Who has tried this product? Looks decent.
120 or 240V input, 120V output with generator support like the old SW.
However, 30W idle and appears not to be listed yet.

I heard about it yesterday in a friendly conversation with Tom Bishop of
Sunelco.
