[RE-wrenches] Charge Controllers with greater than 150 V input

Since we do relatively few grid-tied battery back-up systems (4 a year), I
have no direct knowledge of only Outback and now Xantrex products. Is anyone
willing to offer a comparison of the Apollo and MidNight Classic (I know
it's only in beta right now)?

Also, is there any fundamental problems using a non XW charge controller
with the Xantrex XW Inverter? I know we would miss the integrated monitoring
function, using a the SC

Will, please see what the Xantrex folks say about mating an Apollo CC with
the Xantrex XW Inverter Charger. Tell them what our motivation is: that we
would dearly like to design to 5-module strings rather than 3-module
strings.

Hi Peter,

Apollo makes a high voltage 200VOC unit, 80 amps.

And the Classic from Midnight is almost ready to come out if I hear it
right.

I seem to remember mention a while ago of a quality charge controller that
supports a higher input voltage than 150 V? We would like 175 V.
