All,
There are lots of problems with the facts of this article. The biggest
problem is that people will read it and believe it. We have our work cut out
on the training side of things. I am personally working with fire fighters
and the solar industry to put together some "Myth Buster" style tests to
demonstrate the hazards. This article certainly adds fuel to the mistaken
understandings of fire fighters.

All of the roofs I do only have solar on one side of them. If a
firefighter needed to put a hole in the roof, he'd go to the north side
rather than hacking through glass.
