[RE-wrenches] Fronius IG Plus line

If there's a -1 at the end of the Fronius model, it's split phase output
with two hot output terminals. IG Plus 11.4-1 for instance. If there's a -3
at the end, it's a true 3-phase unit with three hot output terminals. IG
Plus 11.4-3 for instance.
And Carl is correct, the larger Fronius units, particularly the 3-phase
ones, have been pretty much backordered for the past couple months. Some
end-of-year rush in Europe was the rumor we heard. Allow a month or two for
delivery.
Cheers,

Marco,
My only comment is the 3 phase units are a long lead time item. Fronius
expects to catch up to demand by end of Q1 2010.

I have yet to install a Fronius IG Plus inverter. Looking through the
manual I'm trying to determine whether each inverter in the line, between 3
and 12 kW, puts out three-phase power across all three poles, L1, L2 and L3
or whether all or some of these models put out power across just one or two
poles like the SMA Sunny Boys.
I'd appreciate any education on this.
Thanks,
marco
