Hi Larry,

Try a RIB. Relay In a Box. www.functionaldevices.com Our local electrical
supply houses stock them. They are versatile relays and reasonably priced.
We use the RIBU1C. The coil ratings are 10-30VDC, or 10-30VAC, or 120VAC.
The contacts are rated for 10A @ 277VAC or 28VDC. They also carry several
other AC ratings depending on N/O or N/C application.

Dave

Subject: [RE-wrenches] battery box fan

Wrenches.

On an upgrade to an existing system, we just installed a Xantrex
XW6048 inverter. We have a 48 volt dc battery box vent fan that we
used to run through the relay on the old SW5548. The XW6048 has a 12
vdc aux output so I assume we need to install a relay to run the fan,
12vdc input, that will allow 48 vdc output
Any suggestions on what relay to use?

Thanks
