[RE-wrenches] Fake Email solar orders

I actually made contact with one of these crooks. Their initial email looked
convincing enough because it asked for specific number and model of panel.
After a phone call and a couple of follow up emails, I became suspicious and
contacted the owner of the credit card that they had supplied. He had no
idea the credit card had been compromised and was grateful I checked with
him. He called the police and credit card company and nobody wanted to do
anything.
I told the crooks that the panels were on the way in the hopes of doing a
sting, but the police had no interest.

When this first happened to me I tried to contact the police, and even the
FBI but I found that was a waste of time also. Also beware of fake
casheers checks.
