MessageGMAC is supposedly planning to begin energy efficient/renewable energy financing incentives on Jan 1 2009. At least that's what our builder mentioned.

  Eric,
In 2004 a mortgage broker and I collaborated on a Home Power article called "Financing Renewable Energy". You might wish to pass it on to some of your customers. It mentions a few resources, and there are many more financing venues now, but mostly it offers a window into how mortgage financing works. It's in the Oct/Nov 2004 issue and on some of their CDs.

I'm looking for recommendation of banks or lenders who are favorable to work with when loaning on solar projects (large or small) so that I can direct my customers. Any good? Or bad?
  Thanks.
