Plug-in Hybrid kWh/day [RE-wrenches]

For planning purposes, the plug-in Prius should be available 2010. A Rav4 EV
owner living in a PV home reports, "Like over 50% of the Californians who
own a production EV, I charge my batteries with kWh I generate from sunlight
falling on my house. The economics of buying a PV system and running your
house and car with it are simply amazing. I paid $15,000 for my 3 kW system
5 years ago and by my calculation, the system will have paid for itself in
another 3 years. I haven't been to a gas station in over 5 years. None of my
money has gone to the oil companies, or by extension, the Saudis."
