You might also look into www.turbokool.com and Ben and Barbara Bachman's evaporative cooling based
(they're from NV) "spin-spray" offerings, powered by solar PV/12VDC nominal systems.

Look into a RV rooftop air conditioner.
 Or talk to Larry at Sunfrost, he deals with a lot of DC for cooling.
