PV Grounding [RE-wrenches]

Braided (stranded) cable is commonly used for electrical and lightning 
protection grounding. Braided ground straps are common in vehicles. Perhaps 
he meant that it is difficult (but not impossible) to make a good connection 
with stranded wire.
