life expectancy of sealed batteries [RE-wrenches]

Hello Wrenches,
 
We will have our first line of Ca+ / Ca- L-16 (S-460C) coming off in 2 weeks.  We are interested in supplying for use in grid-tie systems and will supply in sets of eight (8) for 48VDC.  If anyone is interested all we want is feedback, so please contact me off line with your shipping details, etc.

What we really need for grid tie with battery backup is an affordable 
(like the price of a traditional lead antimony L-16) made with lead 
calcium technology. These batteries are made for floating, but are also 
shallow cycle.

I am using a 22 year old set I got from the hydro plant I work at when 
their rated life was up a couple of years ago. Still going strong.
