Jamie,
I knew if I sent that post and reread yours I would get it! Yes, I'm doing a 80% DOD on two of my systems and about 50% on the others - still trying to find the sweet spot! So far it looks like the 80% DOD is doing fine. One of my factors is to cycle no more than once a day so my batteries have a chance to cool and to charge every day to 80% SOC. Some systems can do this at 50% DOD and others at 80% DOD. The reality of true loads after the client moves in and uses things always changes original design points.
