Hi Christopher. According to a recent article in Home Power on data collection systems (HP121) Fat Spaniel data collection is independent of the inverter.
But I do not know if they offer other services, so I cannot answer that definitively, and you raise a good point. I hope David Katz is listening in, he knows this project.
