Jay,

The Endurance with Windward's own (very nice!) 100' tilt tower is around 
$35,000.
Not for the faint of heart but it's a very sturdy machine.
As for interconnection issues,  in some areas you will need the utility 
grade relay option which we
had to get here in NY. This was around $1,000 more.

I don't see a problem with AC coupling this machine. I've been dying to 
try it on this customer's 28.8kw dual
quad Outback system. That's the one you see on Outback's Extreme 
Gallery. With the 4800 AH battery bank,
I would think that would make for a very stable grid.

I believe this machine is going to be a real contender.
