Bad news - Tax credit extension failed [RE-wrenches]

I think there may be a bit of good news out of all of this bad news. It is my understanding that the "old" 10% solar tax credit that we have reverted back to does not have the cap of $2,000 for residential. Therefore, any residential system that in the end costs more than $20,000 after all other incentives would qualify for a Fed. tax credit of more than $2,000.  Many res. systems would fall into this area.
