Plug-in Hybrid kWh/day [RE-wrenches]

I have a client that wants to purchase a PV system that is not only large
enough to provide 100% of his historical usage but cover a yet to be
purchased plug-in hybrid electric vehicle as well. 

I told him that I would max out his available space and at the same time
inquire about plug-in hybrids. 

Does anyone know a source of information on estimating the number of kWhs
needed for a daily 10 mi one-way commute? I know these puppies are not on
the market yet, but someone must have some estimated numbers.

Any help would be appreciated.
