Windy Boy conversion [RE-wrenches]

For John Berdner or anyone else who can provide insight:

I have a 1800 watt Windy Boy inverter. I assume it can be used as or
converted to a Sunny Boy PV string inverter. Is this true? Is it field
retrofittable for use with PV? Thanks.
