$6.75 per watt?? Really? [RE-wrenches]

Folks,
Can any of you install a complete commercial 25 kw grid-tie with Conergy MU175 mods/Unirac racks across 5 different shingle roofs with 5 SMA inverters for $6.75 per watt AND make any money?  I am at a loss trying to understand how a contractor's bid can afford to undercut me so much.... are they giving away Conergy modules or maybe my costs for equipment and labor are too high in today's world?  I figure I can't do it for less than $8.25 per watt with BP175s and turn a decent profit - there just is no volume in our area.... any thoughts?
