external chargers for Outback [RE-wrenches]

Hello All,

What have people used/been happy with when you need a large external  
charger for a grid-tied Outback system? We installed an IBE  24GPU70  
to generator charge 2 strings of 390 ah Trojans, and the thing seems  
to be very inefficient. Looking over the IBE sizing chart and  
comparing AC kw required for various continuous DC outputs, the  
efficiency seems to be in the 50-60% range, which is about what we  
observed in our system. Is there anything else out there that can  
deliver around 100 amps DC with reasonable efficiency and reliability?
