60 amp contactor [RE-wrenches]

Hello Steve,

I just called an Iota distributor, and he didn't think I could use the 
Iota transfer switch in a solar system.  

Would it be possible to take the sensor wires off the shore power 
terminals and trigger them through a relay, that would respond when the 
grid went off.  Is that how you do it?  

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
