Travis and Wrenches,

I received an update a few weeks ago. Reguarding the HIP-xxxBA3, as of
August 17th, the temperature restriction remains:
NO WARRANTY if installed in locations where the average temperature reaches
or exceedes 104F.

A few other specifications have changed:

1. They removed the 1000 meter height restriction
2. They removed the relative humidity restriction
(How many of you knew that there is no warranty if installed in an
area that has less than 45% humidity!)
3. Increased maximum modules in series to 8
4. Reduced the tolerance to -5%

What is the latest on the Sanyo warranty issue regarding heat? We've a
project coming up that I'm planning to use them on. We're restricted by a
limited area and it's about 250' away from the house so the idea is to use
Sanyo's on trackers to maximize the production and minimize the footprint.
On paper it's makes for the best energy production per installed $.

Sure we'll have an occasional issue with the tracker controller but we'll
mount the controller within easy reach of the ground and keep a spare with
us so the down time will be pretty minimal.

And where is a good place to buy Sanyo's? One supplier that carries them
doesn't appear to care about my business as they haven't called me back and
the rest of my usual suppliers don't carry them.

As always, thanks in advance!
