Unisolar standing seam roofs [RE-wrenches]

Seems that I remember from several years ago that the strip modules
had to be installed on a (gavalume?) roof only. They were real
specific as to the type of roof it had to be installed on to keep the
warranty.
Have they gotten past that yet?

It's an old memory but I think it's close,
