warranty issues [RE-wrenches]

Thanks for all the good info on warranties etc.

I think that this list CAN serve as a way for us to "be an effective market"
rewarding manufacturers who support well and letting all of us know who
doesn't.  

With regard to fixed fee schedules and customer distance from the shop, I
sure wish I could do all my business on "my side of town" or even in my
town!  The reality here in fly-over country is it takes a multi-state area
to support a PV installer.  I think commercial work is another
"geographically" big market for many, with some firs serving coast to coast.
