Water Miser caps are specifically advertised as a flame arrestor.

Subject: Flame arrester for batteries [RE-wrenches]

Dear Wrenches:

Our local electrical inspector has cited NEC 480.10, the pertinent part
(subsection A) of which states:

"Each vented cell shall be equipped with a flame arrester that is designed
to prevent destruction of the cell due to ignition of gases within the cell
by an external spark or flame under normal operating conditions." This is a
small T105 battery bank for an off-grid system.

Are the caps on Trojan T105 batteries "flame arrester caps?" If so, where
do I find documentation that they are (preferably online over the weekend,
as we need to respond to our AHJ on Monday)?

Thanks for your assistance.
