Grounding on granite island [RE-wrenches]

I am learning a lot about grounding just following this thread! 

The latest NEC Digest Mag had an Ad from the "Copper Development
Association" www.copper.org  for some grounding and power quality case
studies.  Might be interesting... Had a great photo of lightning on a 911
transmitter tower.

The other little idea (that has been covered here in the past and in some HP
articles) is drip irrigation at grounding systems and some talk of (salt?)
augmentation of the earth at the ground location.  Asking the customer to
pee on the ground rods may not be practical, but integrating this with the
grey water/latrine set up may make sense...
