Hi Davis,

Transformerless = Ungrounded DC System (Safer than the grounded variety in
my opinion)

The PV Cable comes on quite a few modules these days. Depending on how/where
you buy modules, you should stipulate them on your PO.

In addition to the double-jacketed cable where conductors are not in a
raceway, you will also have to break positive & negative conductors with
your DC Disconnect(s). If you connect 3 or more strings in parallel, you
will have to fuse positive & negative conductors as well.

Pray for Sun!

Wrenches,
Has anyone had any experience with the new Power-One (formerly Magnetek)
transformerless inverters? Seems they are now available in the US.
Also, what modules are currently available with the new "PV Cable" power
leads? Are there any other code/installation requirements? Thanks in
advance.
