Needing info on 2006 solar fed. tax credit [RE-wrenches]

I saw the Federal guidelines and it stated for residential installs, your 
allowed 30%  of the system cost as a tax credit up to a maximum of 2000.00 
dollars, that's how I understood it. But its different for Commercial 
installs.
