Thanks Allan,

John's Code Corner #66 addresses this issue.  I have sent a copy to the AHJ,
but he states that he cannot "rely" on the article.  At least he has it so
he can get up to speed if he wants to.

I had to send him a copy of the spec sheet that shows that the wire is
listed to UL 854.  UL 854 is the spec for Service Entrance conductors where
it is specified that the wire is not marked "sunlight resistant" but has
been tested for the same.

This is from my memory of a recent John Wiles PV/Code seminar, so I may be
incorrect here: USE-2 is sunlight-resistant whether marked or not.
