Hi Ron,

I install many Sanyo HIP 200BA3 panels in battery based systems. I just
put 3 on a motorhome today and I always run them parallel. The Voc of
the 200 is 68.7. Two in series is 137.4 at 77F. There is no place in the
USA that the temperature does not drop below 77 at some time during the
year. In other words: don't even think about doing it.

The Blue Sky 6024 has a zener diode set at 140 volts. It will disable
the PV input if you ever exceed maximum input voltage and the zener will
have to be replaced. No warranty for the repair. (although Rick is very
forgiving most of the time!) The MX60 will permanently log the over
voltage. Not sure what will happen but if you have a warranty issue and
they see the over voltage...

The HIP 200BA3 has 3.59 Imp. You did not mention how many modules you
are using but 4 200's with an 80' run will only have 1.65% loss (about
13 watts) using 6 gauge. Thats much better than the old days of 48 or 24
volt runs and huge wire.
