The standard USE2 type stuff is about the same price as you noted, but have
had less luck finding any of the finer stranded more flexible cable at a
reasonable price. Most "standard" #10 USE-2 is 7-strand, which is not very
flexible and does not work well with the MC connectors. We used to pay like
18 cents a foot for the fine strand stuff from MC, but the latest quote was
like a 250% increase in price.
We get most of our wire from Anixter but cannot find a listing for that.
We are gearing up to make the new Solarline 2 cables, that is what prompted
to look for alternative sources for the wire. Since there is currently a mix
of both the Solarline-1 and Solarline-2 panels out there, we need to be able
to make cables for both and some hybrid cables for adapting.
