Guys,

There are NO big auto makers that approve of 100% bioDiesel. My daughter
has a 2004 VW TDI wagon that has run on 100% off and on for several
years, and her husband (that would be my son-in-law) has a 2005 Mercedes
Diesel that goes faster than most gasoline cars; at $50,000.00 it
better. Both these cars have run on 100%, or rather, they did prior to
all the problems that have occured. These problems have included fuel
line leaks, failed lift pumps, failed injector pumps (both cars), oozing
fuel connections, sensor problems and clogged filters. The Mercedes cost
$2,400.00 to fix after just 200 miles on straight BD. The VW injection
pump failed after 40,000 miles

I feel bad about all this since I'm the one who got them all fired up
(ha ha) about bio-fuel in the first place. Both cars are now running on
20%, which seems to have no visible effect on the fuel system of either
car. During all the stuff that was going on, both VW and MB said that
all warranties were voided because of running on BD. Bummer, eh?
