Generator start GSCM 3w-2w module [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches,
I need a 2-wire to 3-wire adapter to auto start an Onan CMM 7000 generator
from an Outback system. Has anyone used the Atkinson Electronics GSCM-mini
module for this application? Any drawbacks of the "mini" over the regular
GSCM? 

Also, do you prefer to control the gen charging from the AGS (Advanced
Generator Start) function of the Mate, or the GenAlert function of the
inverter?
