Hello Stirling engine fans/wrenches,

The WhisperGen  Stirling engine cogeneration unit made in New Zealand  
was pointed out to me by an acquaintance.  It is described as a  
compact, quiet, diesel, 800W DC battery charger that also heats water  
for hot water or space heating.  It has been around since 1998.
