No-Power Direct Vent Heaters? [RE-wrenches]

Hi Esteemed Wrenches,

Does anyone know of a Direct-Vent Gas Space Heater that:

1)  Doesn't need power to run  AND
2)  Doesn't waste alot of gas with a pilot?

I know Bosch has the ultra-cool starter on their on-demand water 
heater using the pico generator in the water line to start the unit.

Can we match that with a space heater in any way?
