Grid Tie Inverter issues [RE-wrenches]

Hi Gang,
A couple of things I wanted to run by the collected wisdom of the list.
1) Cold Temps. Colorado has been having a pretty cold winter.
This morning we saw temps around zero, but brilliantly sunny. Looking
at the various inverter manufacturers data, Fronius lists their coldest
running temp at 5 degrees. Any other cold areas see cold temps
preventing inverters from firing up? Any stories worth sharing?
2) Also on a Fronius tip, there seems to be a contradiction
regarding dust. They state NEMA 3R outdoor closure, and promote being
able to hang them outside, but deep in the user manual it states not to
expose to excessive dust. Outdoors in Colorado is pretty much dusty.
Are you wrenches installing outdoors or indoors? Different brands for
different environments?
Any insight would be appreciated....
