Battery strings [RE-wrenches]

Not that I know of. My general practice is to not parallel more than three
series strings. Perhaps Richard Perez could answer some of these questions?

I understand the disadvantages of multiple parallel strings in general, but
is there a particular reason why cross-wiring should never be used with more
than three strings?
