Travis,

Here is part of the answer, but not the whole answer.

When you get to the last menu heading (19?) press the red and green buttons
simultaneously, just as you did to get into the setup mode. If successful,
you'll get into a tech diagnostic mode. Most of the items in there are
numbers that are meaningless to us Wrenches. But scroll down; I think the
last menu item is Fan Speed, 1-4. That fan speed reading may assist you with
your diagnostics.
