Jeff,

I concur. I have seen weird voltages and then discovered array
misconnections. Have your on site wrench isolate individual modules, to
start from square one, and check single module OCV.

Jeff,

This has to be a wiring mistake. I really don't think those modules are
capable of those voltages. Especially after all these years.

I just got a call from a Virgin Islands customer with Siemens Pro 4JF and
M75's modules, they are both producing considerably higher Voc then they
should. The 4JF is rated at 22Voc and is putting out 28Voc and the M75's,
rated at 19.8Voc is doing 24Voc. This is in considerable tropical heat not
snow and no cloud edge effect! Has anyone seen this before? The person on
site has checked with another VOM and they both agree. A brand new C-35
toasted on day one, 12VDC system got up to 18VDC and took out a DC fridge. I
have to admit this is a 1st for me.... -jeff o
