I, too, am interested in the SatCon inverters, as one of our customers has
told us that he is a small stockholder in the Co. and wants us to take a
close look at them. They look good on paper and we have had fairly extensive
discussions with their sales and pre-sales technical support. So far so
good.

Here is my request: I would appreciate if anyone posting on this subject
include whether or not they have a financial stake in the product:
stockholder, distributor, reseller -- or just an installer. Does that sound
fair?

Hello Doug,
SatCon inverters are all that you listed plus well-made, built-in
transformer with tap for wider voltage window, smaller footprint, easier to
install, quieter and no problems so far. Do others concur?

Wrenches,

SatCon appears to be one of the brighter stars among larger
commercial/industrial inverters with excellent CEC efficiency numbers, a
spread of sizes, good communication options, and competitive pricing. But
their literature and support is scanty.

Has anyone installed one? How'd it go? How has the performance been? They're
lookin' good, but I'm hesitant to recommend them without any real world
experience.

Thanks for sharing...
