Remember, sustainability is about using LESS, not throwing a bunch of
resources (even if they are active renewables) to offset waste and
inefficiency.      Todd

If Sustainability were about using LESS (per se) - then shouldn't everyone 
be living in caves and/or treehuts and saving their excrement in buckets to 
put on crops.

I believe a better definition of Sustainability is to use ONLY what you 
need, without harming the needs of our future generations. The ancient 
tribes that lived off the land seemed to know this instinctly. There is also 
a big difference between needs and wants, and most people don't know the 
difference or where to draw the line.

Love to hear what Matt Lafferty has to say on the subject........
