Telecom?  Is there a rectifier bank in the design?  What is the expected DC load, is it 24x7, and how will it be supplied when the generator is not running?  Lots of great deals out there on used/refurb/surplus telecom power gear.  I do a lot of telecom work, have lots of contacts that might be useful.
