Battery Fuel Gauge [RE-wrenches]

In my case #1 is wrong. All the systems I install that have batteries, 
have an amp hour meter (link-10) that does a very good job of tracking 
battery soc. Modern meters recalculate the battery efficiency (which 
includes self discharge) every time they are fully charged. That kind of 
takes out item 3 below as well.
