Ethernet on Mod Sine Wave [RE-wrenches]

We had a customer we upgraded from an old Trace U series to an Outback.
His old Staber washer wouldn't run unless other loads were on. Seems
that some weird feed back was occurring when just the Staber and Outback
were on. I didn't get the full report, but somehow the Staber
electronics were tricking the Outback to think its voltage output was
out of spec. A 50mF Cap cured the problem. I've also got another
customer who can't run a Frigidaire front loader on SWs. It gets stuck
on the Spin cycle I believe, so they have to run a generator when they
wash. I didn't do any of the original work, so I haven't tried fixing
that one. Maybe a cap would cure that too. Then I had a couple of
Stabers that kept cooking control boards one on a DR, and one on a SW+.
Meanwhile I've got folks running old top loaders on DRs for over 10
years no problems.
Hey I've even had trouble with a front loading washer on dirty grid
power! (smoked control board after 4 months) Those VSD controls are
delicate.
