<< Most of the OutBack Mate2M remote display panels did actually have the
RS232 connector on them - it would just be covered with a removable
plastic cover though.  The data stream it produces might be an issue as
I think it was a little different than the standard MATEs though - The
Mate2M was a "simpler" menu version really intended for the RV and
Marine (i.e. Mobile) markets.  It uses the same black square housing as
the MATE2 (mate "squared") which has the same software as the original
oval MATE version.

We can upgrade this for the customer (probably for free or a small
charge if it does not have the connector) to the standard MATE2 version.

Assuming I get that squared away and he has the Mate 2, what else would he
need in order to monitor his system over the internet?
