FYI - If any of you have clients in the NYC area, the NYC DOB Electrical
Division has instated a new ruling that will force all new PV installations
to undergo third party testing by UL or a UL equivalent Nationally
Recognized Testing Lab.

Electrical Code Revision and Interpretation Committee of the New York City
Department of Buildings. The Committee has agreed to an amendment to the
code, effective in January 2007, which will:

"require all future PV installations to be tested and listed as a system, by
a nationally recognized testing laboratory."

We just had to go through this process with UL and it cost over $3000 for a
6.63 kW grid tied project with Sharp 170's and SMA inverters.

Merry Christmas!

David
