peak load shaving [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches,

We have a potential commercial customer looking for a peak load shaving in a
grid-tie with backup system. This business is a restaurant at a ski
mountain so normally a good sized pv array would suffice to cut down loads
in the summer but this restaurants big loads are in December through
February evenings when sun is in hot demand here in Vermont. So basically
the system would sell down the batteries when the load hits a certain level.
The only inverter that I have seen with published documentation to do this
is the SW. Any one have any experience with a system like this or know of
another inverter with a better grid tie efficiency?

Thanks

Davis Terrell
