In the past many in this industry, including publications like Home Power=
=20
Magazine, have been more pro-union than anti-union.

This is a good example of "Big Union" proving it has no more scruples than=
=20
the often maligned "Big Business".

I am glad that we are in a Right to Work state...

Not only does the CA C-10 exam never mention PV, there is not a whiff of=

Not that it matters; what matters is the six million the IBEW is spending=

keep the market to themselves. Fifty-five percent of the systems installed
under the Energy Commission's ERP are by C-46 contractors, whose numbers in=

Golden=E2=80=9D state are in the hundreds, where the IBEW has 10,000=
 C-10=E2=80=99s.  Next
states to go, New Jersey and York.

......My point is that the vast majority of licensed electrical contractors
in this here state know next to nothing about PV, especially high voltage
grid-connected systems.  And yet these contractors are the only ones=
 legally
permitted to install PV systems in Hawai'i.  And I know that there is not=
=20
one single
PV question on the license exam.  I have to believe that it's a similar
situation in CA.  And the State of CA. is poised to disenfranchise
those C-46 solar specialists who have installed at least half, HALF of all
the some odd 13,000 NEM systems in the Golden State...go figure.  That will=
=20
be a
sad day when it comes to pass.
