The installation is unusual.  The house is a normal grid connected 
residence with a small solar system to feed various lighting 
loads.  Although the grid is available to be switched on for battery 
charging, normally the power will be supplied by about 500 watts nominal of 
solar array.  In normal usage, the grid will not be connected.
