Question:     If someone modifies an electrical service in a way that the 
manufacturer never intended has that person ruined the UL listing for that 
electrical service?

 If someone ties into the service without a breaker are they in the cross 
hairs of a law suite to restore the equipment's UL listing? Have they violated 
some section of the NEC?

 Has anyone been cited by their inspector for an infraction of: " Not listed 
for the Purpose"?

Do others worry about this?
